Abstract

At its General Assembly in November 2019, UNESCO approved a recommendation to promote open educational resources (OER). The UNESCO's Recommendation on Open Educational Resources is important because the issues it addresses (capacity-building and support practices, quality assurance, creation of sustainability models and international cooperation) also affect teachers – of course, first through national policies and organizations' own guidelines.
