Follow-up report to the UNESCO Recommendation on open educational resources (OER)

Abstract

The UNESCO report, Consolidated report on the implementation by Member States of the 2019 Recommendation concerning Open Educational Resources (OER), was published in November 2023. The report reviews the implementation of the 2019 UNESCO OER Recommendation. The concise report to the UNESCO General Assembly includes, among others, the following sections:

• General Support
• Developing supportive policy
• Encouraging effective, inclusive and equitable access to quality OER
• Nurturing the creation of sustainability models of OER
• Promoting and reinforcing international cooperation
