Abstract

Research data management and research methods are closely intertwined, yet they are often taught and learned in isolation. As part of a teaching development project coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland Library, a course was designed to pilot ways of integrating data management with discipline-specific research method instruction. The goal was to apply the insights and experiences gained to improve teaching practices and to share them openly for others to benefit from. This publication – Mastering the research data! // Tutkimusaineisto haltuun! – provides practical tips and documentation to support the implementation of similar courses.
