Vol. 8 No. 1 (2026): Open education VII

This is the seventh issue of Think Open Digest on open education (OE) and open educational resources (OER). As in previous issues, this thematic package brings together articles, services, tools, guides and recommendations on open education and open educational resources previously published elsewhere online. The theme issue is aimed specifically at higher education teachers – to support their work and inspire new ideas.

The issue has been assembled by a cross-university and cross-institutional working group, including Kaisa Hartikainen (University of Eastern Finland), Ilmari Jauhiainen (AVOTT, The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies), Terhi Kaipainen (South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Xamk), Leena Katto (Tampere University of Applied Sciences), Matleena Laakso (freelance trainer), Anna Lindfors (CSC – IT Center for Science), Alexander Salava (University of Helsinki), Mia Sivén (University of Helsinki) and Kati Syvälahti (Tampere University Library). Juuso Ala-Kyyny (Helsinki University Library), editor for Think Open Digest, has coordinated the project.
