Editor's comments
In this article Teo et al. synthezise most active chemistry education research (CER) trends via a systematic review of CER articles published between 2004–2013. Their data consists of 650 articles published in the six most established CER and science education research journals. This article gives a good overview of the CER field – a recommended article after Taber's CER introduction.
