The youth need chemistry, chemistry needs the youth

Abstract

During ChemBio 2013 event there was a panel discussion under the topic ”What the youth need chemistry for?” From the viewpoint of chemical industry, the answer is clear. Chemistry based business is a significant industry in Finland, the success of which is based on competent staff now and in the future. The industry puts a lot of effort on increasing the interest towards the field among the youth.
